DEWO (DokdoEastSea World Organization)

DEWO (DokdoEastSea World Organization) is a non-profit organization supported by the Chicago Forum which has been introducing the historical background and current issues of Dokdo/East Sea for not only 2nd and 3rd generation Korean-Americans, but also other ethnic youths in America. It also encourages mainstream society to correct distorted historical events as well.

DEWO 2019 DOKDO FESTIVAL

To educate and promote the historical background and current issues related to Dokdo through cultural programs to learn the importance of history as 2nd and 3rd generation Korean-American youths in America

Date & Time: Saturday Aug 31st ,
Youth: 6th – 12th grade (9:00AM – 2:30PM),
College: Undergraduate & Graduate (2:00PM – 7:00PM)

Place: First Korean United Methodist Church (655 East Hintz Road, Wheeling, IL 60090)
